Work Experience

Based on long-term experience working in Brussels I regularly facilitate multi-stakeholder meetings, cross-cultural dialogue encounters and I provide dialogue courses to an international student audience.

I started my career with an internship at the European Institutions in 1997. Then followed 10 years in the international private sector, first as a consultant on EU affairs, then as EU Information Manager in a law firm, and eventually as EU Policy Adviser preparing lobbying work. In January 2012, I moved into the humanitarian sector, where I assisted refugees in Belgian detention centres and advocated on behalf of their rights.
